An Electrocardiogram (EKG) is a noninvasive procedure that measures the electrical activity of your heart while at rest. We use the state-of-the-art EKG machine at Whittier Max 1200, known for its accuracy and reliability. Our skilled technicians will conduct the EKG and provide immediate results. If requested, a cardiologist can review the EKG, usually within 24 hours, to offer a more detailed analysis. This ensures you receive comprehensive feedback and peace of mind regarding your heart health.
An X-ray is a crucial diagnostic tool that captures detailed images of the inside of your body. Our facility utilizes the advanced PowerMax 1260, a 120kV, 15-60mA system, which minimizes exposure times and enhances image quality. Annie, our main X-ray technician, ensures that all X-rays are performed with precision. Once the X-ray is taken, 1 pre-op will send it to our radiologist, who will read and interpret the results. You will receive a detailed report within 24 hours, ensuring a prompt and accurate diagnosis.
